SERGEANT THORNTON BEGAN HIS CAREER WITH NORTH LAKE IN JANUARY. 2011 IS A POLICE OFFICER AND SUBSEQUENTLY IS PROMOTED TO SERGEANT IN APRIL 2013. PRIOR TO HIS CAREER, NORTHLAKE, HE SERVED IN SEVERAL AGENCIES AS AN OFFICER, SERGEANT AND LIEUTENANT AND ALSO IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY FOR FOUR YEARS. SERGEANT HORTON HOLDS A MASTER'S PEACE OFFICER LICENSE AS A CERTIFIED ACCIDENT. INVESTIGATOR POLICE INSTRUCTOR FIELD TRAINING OFFICER AND HAS ATTENDED TO COMPLETED THE IOWA POLICE SCHOOL SUPERVISION AND FBI CAME IN COLLEGE. SERGEANT THORNTON HERE IN NORTH LAKE HAS BEEN AWARDED OFFICER OF THE YEAR AND OR SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR IN THREE DIFFERENT YEARS ON 15, 17 AND 19. HMM. AND IS KNOWN FOR BEING HARD WORKING, DEDICATED AND IS EVEN TAKING ON SOME SPECIAL PROJECTS HERE WITH THE TOWN RELATED TO BICYCLES, SAFETY HALLOWEEN AND THE LIKE. STARTED. THORNE ALSO ATTENDED OR IS CURRENTLY ATTENDING TEXAS A AND M AND TO COMPLETE HIS BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND HAS 3000 HOURS OF TRAINING IN HIS CAREER. AND WHAT WE'RE HERE TONIGHT TO TALK ABOUT IS BACK IN 2017 LIAN OBTAINED HER LEVEL THREE CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL COURT PROGRAM. THERE ARE STAGES OF CERTIFICATION AND PRETTY MUCH ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES DIVISIONS AND WE CELEBRATE AND ENCOURAGE ALL OF

THIS IS PRIMARY DUE TO THE RECEIPT OF THE NEW TAX NOTES, THE $7 MILLION AND ALSO THE HIGHER INTEREST EARNINGS THAT WE'RE GETTING FROM LAMAR AS COMPARED TO LOGIC, SO THE NEW INTEREST RATES THAT WE NEGOTIATED THROUGH THEM REALLY NICE AND MUCH BETTER RETURN ON INTEREST AND DONE WELL. YOU'RE GOING TO USE HENRY QUESTIONS, BUT OUR INVESTOR REPORT. QUICK QUESTION. WHAT'S OUR POLICY ON HOW WE SELECT A BANK AND. HOW THAT IS APPROVED. THROUGH THE MONTH OF JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, RECEIVE THE LION'S SHARE OF THOSE PROPERTY TAXES. AND SO WE WOULD DO THAT WOLF. WE'RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO SEE THAT. BUT MOST OF OUR REVENUE FOR PROPERTY TAXES COMING. IT'S REALLY THE FRONT, YOU KNOW, FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR AND SO WE'RE GONNA CONTINUE TO SEE THAT HAPPENING. SALES TAX RECEIPTS. THIS IS A GOOD NOTE ARE UP 44% FROM LAST YEAR AND SO A LARGE REASON FOR THIS IS MOSTLY ONLINE SALES DUE TO THE CHANGE, YOU KNOW, WAYFAIR VERSUS SOUTH DAKOTA. GOD HAS BEEN REMITTING LOCAL SALES OR SALES FROM OUTSIDE THE STATE. BITS WERE NOT BEFORE COMING TO US NOW BASED ON OUR SHARES, SO WE'RE SEEING AN

IF THIS CONTINUES ROUGHLY, THIS WOULD BE AROUND. $300,000 BETWEEN ALL OF OUR SALES TAX FUNDS THAT WE DID NOT BUDGET FOR. IF THAT CONTINUES ON THIS TREND, SO THIS IS KIND OF THE PEAK OF THE YEAR. WE'RE GETTING AROUND CHRISTMAS AND SO I'M GONNA START SEEING THE R RECEIPTS BILTMORE DEPEND ON THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER THAT, HOW WE ACTUALLY PAN OUT, BUT THIS IS. THIS IS MOVING BETTER THAN WE ANTICIPATED SO FAR, SO THAT'S REALLY, REALLY GOOD. WE'RE PROBABLY GONNA SEE AN EXPANSION OF THIS AS ONLINE SALES CONTINUE TO BE A NEW TREND S O EXPENDITURES WE'VE UTILIZED ABOUT 20% OF OUR TOTAL EXPENDITURES.
