SO TONIGHT WE HAVE ANOTHER STATE CHAMPION, THE ARGYLE LADY EAGLES WENT THIS PAST WEEK TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT AND THEY WON. THEY BEAT FRISCO MEMORIAL I THINK 5241 IN THE SEMIFINAL. AND THEN IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, THEY BEAT BARBOURSVILLE 5142. THE REASON THAT I LIKE TO PRESENT THIS, BECAUSE WE HAVE A FEW YOUNG LADIES ON THOSE TEAMS THAT ARE RESIDENTS HERE IN NORTH LAKE, ADDISON, SIMMS AND KINSLEY VEST ARE ALL RESIDENTS HERE AND WANT TO SAY CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM. JUST TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE BIT OF BACKGROUND ON THE THE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM, IF YOU'RE NOT VERY FAMILIAR WITH THEM, THIS IS THEIR 11TH TRIP TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT SINCE THE SCHOOL'S BEEN OPEN. THEY APPEARED IN THE STATE FINALS SEVEN YEARS IN A ROW FROM 2013 TO 2019, AND THEY WON FIVE CONSECUTIVE FROM 2014 TO 2018. THEY WENT AGAIN IN 2022, WHERE THEY LOST IN THE SEMIFINALS, AND THEY WENT BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A5A SCHOOL, AND THEY JUST COMPETED AND WON THE FIRST FIVE STATE TITLES. SO I WANT TO CONGRATULATE THEM ON A JOB WELL DONE. IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL IN THIS AREA, I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO TO DO IT. I WAS NEVER A FAN UNTIL I GOT HERE TO THE AREA AND WATCHED THEM PLAY, AND THEY ARE TREMENDOUS YOUNG LADIES WHO WORK EXTREMELY HARD AND DO A GREAT JOB. GOOD EVENING TEAM, AND THANK YOU ALL FOR GIVING ME A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO JUST EXPLAIN WHO WE ARE IN METHODIST SOUTHLAKE. IT'S ABOUT 20 MINUTES SOUTH. WE ARE THE NEWEST HOSPITAL HERE IN THE AREA. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW, WE ARE PART OF METHODIST HEALTH SYSTEM. SO METHODIST HEALTH SYSTEM WAS FOUNDED BACK IN 1927 IN SOUTH DALLAS. A GROUP OF METHODIST MINISTERS CAME TO THE AREA AND SAID, THERE'S NO HEALTH CARE DOWN THERE. 100 YEARS LATER, WE'RE STILL ONE OF THE ONLY ONES DOWN IN SOUTH DALLAS. AND THAT'S ALWAYS BEEN OUR MISSION AS A NONPROFIT, FAITH BASED ORGANIZATION. AND SO WE WERE FOUNDED AND STARTED IN DALLAS.

AND BACK IN 2005, WE HAD TWO HOSPITALS, METHODIST DALLAS AND THEN ALSO METHODIST CHARLTON, SOUTH DALLAS WITH TWO FAMILY PRACTICE OR THREE FAMILY PRACTICE CLINICS. WE NOW HAVE 1212 BED ER WITH AVERAGE WAIT TIME IS LESS THAN 6 OR 7 MINUTES, 30 ACRES OF LAND THAT WE'VE PURCHASED AND PLANNED TO GROW INTO WITH 24, SEVEN YARDS I MENTIONED, AND WE HAVE 38 INPATIENT PRIVATE ROOMS AND A SIX BED ICU WITH A DEDICATED CATH LAB. AS WE LOOK AT OUR, AS I MENTIONED, OUR PRIMARY SERVICE AREA. AND SO WHAT DOES THAT ENTAIL? THAT ENTAILS PRIMARY CARE CLINICS. WE HAVE ONE IN SOUTHLAKE COLLEYVILLE. WE'RE OPENING A CLINIC IN TROPHY CLUB AND OPENING A CLINIC IN COPPELL, AND THEN ALSO SPECIALTY CLINICS WITH CARDIOLOGY IN NORTH RICHLAND HILLS AND ALSO GENERAL SURGERY RIGHT ON CAMPUS. WE WILL OPEN UP A. WE'VE OPENED UP A SATELLITE EMERGENCY ROOM AND URGENT CARE CLINIC IN COPPELL, AND WE'RE OPENING UP ANOTHER ONE AT THE END OF THIS MONTH IN NORTH RICHLAND HILLS. AND FINALLY, WE'VE GOT AN AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER THAT OPENED UP IN KELLER. WHAT'S GOOD TO SEE HERE IS THE GROWTH THAT WE'VE DONE. EVERYTHING IN GREEN IS OPENING UP THIS FISCAL YEAR. AND SO A LOT OF DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH AND EXPANSION INTO THE AREA, HIGHLY COMPETITIVE AREA. AS YOU LOOK AT THIS MAP, A LOT OF FOLKS THAT HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A LONG TIME ARE COMPETITORS TO THE EAST, HAVE BEEN IN THE AREA FOR 70 YEARS TO THE SOUTH OF US, 50, 40 AND 15 YEARS. WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR FIVE. BUT WHAT WE'RE BASED OFF IS 100 YEAR LEGACY WITHIN METHODIST, AND WE TAKE THE GREAT THINGS THAT WE'VE LEARNED FROM OUR SISTER FACILITIES AND BRING THAT UP

AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, WE'VE GOT OUR PRIMARY CARE OFFICES WITH DOCTORS MAHARA AND BURNELL IN SOUTHLAKE, DOCTOR ROB IN COLLEYVILLE, AND OUR NEWEST CLINIC WILL BE IN TROPHY CLUB. WE WILL BE LOOKING AT EXPANSION FURTHER UP INTO NORTH LAKE AS A DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH OUT IN THIS AREA, BECAUSE IT IS PART OF OUR PRIMARY SERVICE AREA, WE HAVE SEVERAL SERVICE LINES THAT ARE ON CALL 24 SEVEN. WHAT YOU SEE HERE IN BLUE BETWEEN INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY, ORTHOPEDICS, GUI AND GI GASTROENTEROLOGY, WE HAVE THOSE SERVICES 24 SEVEN. WE HAVEN'T ALWAYS HAD THAT. IT'S BEEN A GROWTH ASPECT. AND I, I ALWAYS LIKE TO SAY IT'S A JOURNEY. IT'S NOT A, IT'S NOT A SPRINT.

IT'S A MARATHON OF A, OF A PROCESS TO MAKE SURE WE'RE PROVIDING GREAT CARE AT THE RIGHT TIME.
